I decided to try my 1st Camino hotel accommodation reservation using Trivago.  It turns out that it is not as complicated as I thought it would be.  No penalties for cancelling 2 days before the reserved date.  It costs only €59 for 1 night stay and it is for a whole apartment which can accommodate 7 people.

I also decided to have my cel phone carrier, Sprint, to turn on one of their features called “International Connect” for $15 per month (can be cancelled and prorated anytime) which allows unlimited data (text) to Spain from the USA.  If this had not been set up, each call I make to Spain would be charged at a rate of $2 per minute.  With the “International Connect” plan, each call will be charged at a rate of $0.20 per minute if the call is made or is received while in Spain.
