26 Sep 2018 – “Day before the Flight to Madrid”

Day before my flight, I printed all the reservations for the trip, i.e. – hotel vouchers, train tickets, airline boarding passes, and laid out all the items to bring and cram into one backpack.

Got a tip from my daughter Terese to roll my clothes like sausages and store them in separate groups of compartmentalized plastic bags. It made sense and I ended up with a packed backpack, which includes the pocket drone, for a total of 15.2lbs (or 6.9 kilos). …just right below threshold of 7 kilos.

After having done all of the above, I decided to go back and started catching up on updating my blog. I fired up my laptop and noticed that it was upgrading my windows 10 operating system again despite my conscious effort to disable it. It craps out my 2013 version of Autocad I use for my patent design. Frustrated with the persistent upgrade, I decided to nuke my laptop by pressing the off button while upgrading and I ended up damaging the laptop. I called my IT friend, Ricardo to see what he could do. The laptop could not be restored so I had to drop it off at Ricardo’s House for fixing … with that fiasco, there goes my plan for my update.
